Can you dye Fuzzis?

Does anyone know if you can dye Fuzzis? Or is the material such that its not possible?

Nope, can't dye anything manmade as far as i know, ie PUL microfibre, fleece etc

There's a make of dye you can use to dye polyester which might work - dunno if you could use it for LWI though and I think you need to simmer the dye pot so not sure you'd want to do that to the PUL :?

I stand corrected, I knew obviously it was possible to dye manmade fabrics, as manufacturers do it, but thought you had to boil it, hence not really feasible when it comes to nappies, however, a quick google and it seems you may be able to use idye dyes in the washing machine, but as fuzzis come in more colours than the idyes its probably easier to buy them coloured, and also, it says to wash cool with like colours after dying, not something I like to hear when it comes to nappies!

thanks steph, and yeah, good point hanna! hmmm, think i'll give up on the idea of tie dyed fuzzis then :giggle:

the alternative is to use fabric paints or appliques to jazz them up
