The thinest most absorbant insert?

Postby lkim13 » Mon Dec 07, 2009 10:48 pm

dd is quite small and i'm finding some nappies just don't allow her to move her legs! have a few fav pockets now for slimness i.e fuzzis and mommys touch but the microfibre inserts that come with them (although perfect thickness) are letting her leak. i need a slim insert for a heavy wetter basically, if i add to the microfibre one it just bulks too much, any ideas?

The most absorbent materials for their size is either hemp or bamboo. Although hemp is fairly slow to absorb so people usually add a microfibre cloth on top of a hemp insert to ensure it absorbs quickly enough.

I find that an easy peasy hemp insert wrapped in a cheap mf cloth makes a great insert
