Advice please - Pockets

Hi

Harriet is 14 months old and I'm thinking of trying pocket nappies mainly for nursery as they can't seem to get the hang of 2 parters  I really don't know where to start so some suggestions as to which ones to try and what to use for stuffing would be great.
:D

Thanks

I would go for something like a bumgenius v2.0 (i've not tried 1 or 3) they are as easy as disps in the fact they have applix for the fastening. Or a happy heiny, but some people have problems with wicking with the cotton prints.

Stuffing - the mf insert it comes with then something like hemp or bamboo if you have a heavier wetter.

Happy nappy shopping!

Well it depends on your nursery staff but if they can't get the hang of two parters (honestly how hard can it be!!) then avoid poppers too!! So you will unfortunately need to stick to velcro pockets.

Stuffing - our best is a standard mf insert (e.g. the fuzzi one or similar) with an easy peasy hemp jersey booster/insert under - nice and slim and very absorbent.
The other insert I use for pockets is the blueberry long hemp and mf combo onesize one but they're a bit hard to get hold of... and probably overpriced for what it is...

So for nursery our best nappies are:

Blueberries - the velcro onesize ones. (we've only got one and it's a minki but they think it's wonderful!!)
Bumgenius - our nursery LOVE these as they are the most similar to disps. I've got a V1 and a V3 and there's not a huge difference TBH - a very reliable nappy.
Happy Heinys (altho' the prints aren't good for heavy wetters)
Upsydaisys as these are velcro (altho' front opening which might confuse them) but I've not tried these at nursery yet (our silver one is too nice to send!! :lol)

HTH

Yeah I would be inclined to agree with Steph and avoid poppers if they can't get on with 2 parters

So I would say Happy Heinys are fool proof and Blueberries are very cute :D

So far, I've tried Fuzzi's and Happy Heinys. Up to now I think Fuzzis are my fave. More fluffy post on the way - currently waiting for 1 wonderoo, 1 weenotions and a couple more fuzzis. Also been looking at MinnieOpockets.

Well we just send our bumgenius or the one size poly PUL HH's. I want to send the something that will have minimal wicking problems and does up with velcro. They occasionally get a blueberry or cotton PUL HH. I often send Kayleigh in a pocket that does up with poppers for a bit of a change. I love my MinnieO.
