Minkee/cuddlesoft inners

So I got a new WNOS the other day and put it on Evie straight away. It was a really good fit around the legs which was fab as that's why I had to sell on my WNSS. But, she was sat on the kitchen floor and when she stod up there was a puddle on the floor. The wee had ran straight off the minkee and out the sides. When I took it off the minkee was sopping to touch. The inserts were almost bone dry so she hadn't out-peed it.
Are you supposed to wash minkee before it is used? The inserts were a bamboo trifold with an EP hemp booster underneath.

Yes definitely a wash or two and then they work perfectly.

Yeah you do need to prewash minkee a few times - usually the manufacturers put something on it to make it extra soft, and it makes it VERY liquid resistant so that any liquid will just run straight off it! It needs a few prewashes to completely wash it all out
