Help with wnss please.

Postby aimeet » Thu Jul 01, 2010 8:38 pm

My preloved pocket that I got from classifieds has leaked every time I have used it. I thought it was wicking on the legs initially but when I took it off it was wet all up the back. Is it a case of dodgy PUL? or do wnnss just not fit Penny. I hope it is the first as I have 2 new ones on order! In contrast, we have had no problems with the one size :-?
Any ideas?

Perhaps the pul just needs re-sealed... you could pop it in the tumble dryer on full heat for 5-10 minutes.

5 mins on a high heat in the dryer will fix that  i got it on our BBSS after about 3 months. 5 mins and hey presto, back to new PUL! :wine:

I agree with the girls about the dryer trick! However they recommened not putting bamboo in the dryer as it can be easily burnt - if I ever had to in an emergency it was on low heat! hths!

I've found bamboo shrinks in the dryer too.

Oh, best not put them in then, I have found that they have gone a bit crunchy in our hard water :( What helps soften them? I have tried leaving them out in the rain but it doesn't always happen.
