Issy bear problem.

Postby sahara » Wed Aug 18, 2010 5:37 pm

I can't get it to stop wicking. I have the cotton print one and it always always wicks after an hour. The insert has been well washed, over 12 times now, but always bunches up in the pocket which I am guessing is causing the problem.

I have tried the smallest, medium and largest rise to no avail.

Am I really going to have to sell my Issy :(

There have been a few posts about Issy bears recently...

Unfortunately cotton print outer pockets and AI2s do tend to wick if you have a medium/heavy and they only really work for the lightest wetters, either that or you need to use a wrap over them (wool/fleece would do well) or change much more frequently than you would otherwise...

the v2 insert i found i have to put my whole hand in and then flatten (i tend to use the night time one, issy said this one is made with more bamboo and the day one is microfiber) it can be a pita but touch wood we've had no leakage/wickage from them  issy recommend minkee for the heavy wetters, duno why lol
