Pocket advise

Postby sahara » Sat Aug 21, 2010 7:22 am

I need some pockets that are good for a heavy wetter who is very tall and slim. I am having a nightmare and really only can rely on my 2 parters at the moment, but would love some pretty pockets.

Please help

My dd was long and slim and we gave up on pockets totally. I just never found one that didnt leak on her.

What are you stuffing them with? I have a heavy wetter & who's tall and can get by most days using an PD bamboo insert with an EP hemp booster with varying degrees of success dependant on fluid intake

We use BBSS, WNSS, UDSS (come up big for size IMO) :)

It's more the inserts you need to be looking at, not the actual pocket.

Very thirsty fabrics sound best...a combination of bamboo and Zorb maybe?

I always found fleece outer pockets worked far better than minkee etc for heavier wetters :)

Weenotions and Blueberry sized pocket nappies both have quite generous pockets, they might be suitable for a heavy wetter if hemp and/or bamboo inserts are used.

Nappies by Minki do fleece outer pockets but I find they come up HUGE so usually use them for nights.
