Mini lalas

How good are these? Ds is 30 months old and is a chunker who wee's loads i have never tried a lala and would like to but am i wasting money like i usually do on things that don't hold much wee or fit only little or skinny lo's?

I'd love to try them but so far I've been put off as they are a cotton laminate outer which will wick if you have a heavy wetter...

Most pockets will leak if you don't use the correct stuffing ;) Perhaps some of the things you've tried that leaked just needed a bit of boosting :)

I've found that weenotions fit chunky LOs quite well and they're very pretty ;)

I loved mini lalas. My DD has very chunky legs and they fitted her really well. We never had a problem with wicking and DD is a heavy wetter. :hug:

the colours tend to look faded in my experience. Also the inserts shrink over time and leave a gap between the inserts and the legs which we found leaked a lot. When they were new they were fantastic so I guess with an extra, wider insert they would be quite good.
