Mincemeat emergency!

Has anyone got a recipe for making last minute mincemeat? I have been to every supermarket on the island and there is none to be had
@louise any ideas?

Any recipe will be fine. I've run out before and just made up a batch quickly. Its far superior in taste to the shop bought stuff anyway

@emmavmorgan BBC recipes usually pretty good, there is a good selection here, but not sure how you will go it being so last minute they seem to want you to do them in advance!
