Ross stitches keep catching on his nappys what can we do to stop that. It hurts him every time we change his bum. We can't leave him nappyless as he pull at his Willy. We are having to hid him painkillers in his drinks as he won't take them. Just finding it hard as I wish I could take his pain away.
disposables? Not ideal, but short time only! some sort of gauze that wont stick/catch? surely peads would have encountered this before and have a plan?
Are they getting caught in the nappy lining material? Would liners help? (Flushable, fleece or a large piece a gauze) or is there a cream you could possible pop on without damaging nappies or stitches that would stop them sticking/getting caught?
We had a similar procedure and used loads of vaseline and disposables until it had healed. I found the Tesco own petroleum jelly softer than vaseline so easier to put loads on.
