Grey hair in children

OK so on top of all pips other issues, she's got a few grey hairs. Anyone's children have any, do you think I should be concerned??
I managed to gently remove one and it was definitely grey, she's quite dark so it was pretty obvious

Hmmm not sure I've ever heard of that, perhaps something to do with the hormonal things going on with her? Are you sure it isnt' blonde from the sun?

No it's was definitely grey, she does have some blonder hair due to sun, but these are round the back of her head. We should be back at clinic in the next month or so, so I will mention it then, just wondered if any one else had come across it .

Has she ever cut her head at any point @girlinleeds?
Jacob has a few which poke out of a scar. They're a very obvious white stripe in the red.

I wonder if it's just a pigment thing? My Dd1 has very blonde hair but has always had one or two completely black hairs, it's weird.

@cuppachaplz not that I'm aware of but she had thousands of chicken pox in her hair when she got them, could be a pox scar I guess

I seem to recall it can be a B12 deficiency?

We all go grey early in our family. My Granny started at 9, my mum (late developer) stated at 19 and I started at 15 (started my periods at 11). I will most likely be completely grey by 30. I'm 28 now and am about 20% grey.
