Rhubarb Crumble girl's waistcoat -- PATTERN by Joeli's Kitchen

This is for a PDF pattern which will be emailed to you after purchase. Please contact me for details of how to purchase.

Buy Pepo Pie and Rhubarb Crumble and get £1.50 off. Note: This promotion is applied automatically and also applies retroactively (so you do NOT need to purchase patterns at the same time).

Note: Apart from the border sts, from the buttonholes up this pattern is identical to Pepo Pie. The main difference is this pattern is longer and flares out around the hips. I also knit this one in a cotton yarn to give it a good drape--for those subbing yarns, Debbie Bliss Cotton DK is in-between an Aran and a DK.

Finished chest circumference: 17 19, 20, 21, 22, 23.5, 25, 27”

The female version of Pepo Pie, Rhubarb Crumble is named in tribute of another fall delight. Designed with those cool autumn (or spring) days in mind where you just need an extra layer but not a full sweater. It has neat pockets for storing all kinds of goodies. Rhubarb Crumble is nearly seamless--knit in one piece to the armholes, then split into fronts/back, and the shoulders are later joined with a three needle bind off. The only bits left to seam are the pockets, though this could be avoided if you did afterthought pockets. Enjoy!

Note: To attach the top pocket border stitches to the edge as you go, when you get to the last stitch of the row, slip 1, pick up one stitch from vest and slip it, then knit these two slipped stitches together.

As I don't believe in licensing knitting patterns, you are absolutely free to do anything with any item you personally hand-knit using this pattern.
