This pattern is a fun little waistcoat, designed with those cool autumn days in mind where you just need an extra layer but not a full sweater. Also great for looking sharp come back-to-school time. It has neat pockets for storing all kinds of goodies. It is nearly seamless--knit in one piece to the armholes, then split, and the shoulders are later joined with a three needle bind off. The only bits left to seam are the pockets, though this could be avoided if you did afterthought pockets or left the pockets out all together). Any questions feel free to drop me an email at joeli dot caparco at gmail dot com. Enjoy!

Note: To attach the top pocket border sts to the edge as you go, when you get to the last stitch of the row, slip 1, pick up one stitch from vest and slip it, then knit these two slipped sts together.

Yardage requirements:
Cascade 220: 1(1, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 3) skeins
Knit Picks Swish: 2(2, 3, 3, 3, 4, 4, 5) skeins
Manos Wool: 1 (2, 2, 2, 2, 3, 3, 3) skeins
King Cole: 2(3, 3, 4, 4, 5, 5, 6) skeins

It is very important to wash gauge swatch as many of these yarns grow in length after washing.
