Our life with acute myeloid leukemia

Just a diary I'm keeping after we found out on 9th June 2010 (our baby's first birthday) that my other half has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer and how we get by (hopefully I'll be better with this than I am with a diary :giggle: )

Ok so we already knew it but it's so much more real once you see that tiny person growing inside you! The sonographer was brilliant, showed us everything as he went along, explained what he was doing and what we could see. Baby was very good but didn't want to stay still for too long and we got to see little legs kicking and wriggling all over the place, it was fab! I'm sure when Austin was scanned he was sleeping as I don't remember him moving around half as much :giggle: . I was told I have a low lying placenta atm but it will probably move so it's something I will keep in mind but I'll try not to dwell on it  I'm just so happy!!! Been moved forward a couple of days like last time so with any luck it will be like last time and baby will come a couple of days early (wishful thinking but hey  ).
