Our life with acute myeloid leukemia

Just a diary I'm keeping after we found out on 9th June 2010 (our baby's first birthday) that my other half has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer and how we get by (hopefully I'll be better with this than I am with a diary :giggle: )

I have been so lazy with this blog, I wish that I had written more! This pregnancy has been much the same as Austin's though and uneventful, which is far from a complaint but it does make for an uninteresting journal :giggle: .
So we are on the home stretch, the final trimester, less than 3 months left eek  :panic: when did that happen!? One minute I'm wishing the nausea will end wondering if this pregnancy will ever end and the next I seem to have lost most of the pregnancy and I'm looking at the bits we have got and thinking we will never be ready! Haven't even started thinking about how to decorate her bedroom, which I suppose isn't a huge issue as she will be in with us for a while yet but it would have been nice to make a start. Still need a couple of nappy wraps but I think that is the closest thing to something being ready for her :giggle: the nappy stash, OH will be pleased :hohoho: .
I'm somewhere between complete panic and complete calm, I think it's because I know I have Austin and Christmas to keep me busy and after that I'm just hoping it will all fall in to place (and hey sale shopping for baby girl clothes can't be a bad thing so long as I do it on-line can it :giggle: ) I'm really looking forward to having baby number 2 here with us and being a family of four. Half of me is wishing away the next 11 and a bit weeks and half of me is going to miss being pregnant but I soooooo can't wait for those newborn cuddles.
