Well hubby bought me a sewing machine and overlocker so I thought I would start making my own nappies for the little one. I had thought about doing it for a long time, but have recently just got into it and have made 4 in the last week when hubby was doing his private pilot's licence in France.
This is my first attempt, a fitted one size with Red Robots knit and bamboo fleece, I needed a bit more practice with the snap placement but overall was very happy!
This was my latest nappy, which am really happy with and fits the little one really well. It is Moose with Shoes knit with suedecloth inner and a hidden zorb and miroc terry inner. Still need to make the booster but have just been adding bamboo boosters from my stash.
Attempted a PUL all in one last night which is nearly finished aswell, but need to put the snaps in place as it was getting a bit late so thought better do it with fresh eyes in the morning. A job for when Piddles goes to sleep today if he will come inside from running in the puddles.
Have ordered some "mama made" labels from Etsy so they should be here in the next week so will have to sew them on when they arrive.
