The Law of Attraction and Van Helsing

Hi,

not sure if it is ok to post here but just wanted to share some of my recent reading.
So I had been reading Esther and Jerry Hicks books about the law of attraction as well as Jan van Helsing books. I do not think that van Helsing is really available in English but not sure about that.
I am curious what others think about these books.
I think it is worth reading for sure as it really convinces you that you have responsibility for your own life. Basically, for those who have no idea what the LOA (Law of Attraction) is; the law according to, which similar things attract each other. So, if you think about good things these should happen to you. It is not just about wishful thinking but more about believing and enjoying everyday things. Jan van Helsing in his book 'The book for One million Euro' (that should be the title I think) is laughing at this viewpoint but he uses examples of the same law throughout his book. Not quite consistent but well it is his opinion and beliefs he is expressing. He calls it resonating law if I am translating correctly, reading this one in Polish. Sorry for my grammar style but I am thinking in Polish really and that is why my sentences are so awkward. I am bit lazy to think too long about them to be honest.
And for anyone Polish speaking there are great coaching books by Maciej Bennewicz. These is more metaphysical stuff or is it? Slightly similar approach to van Helsing saying that you have to work for your success but stresses importance of accepting change.
I am still thinking how all the books would answer the question of sudden tragic death that happens to some people. Like recently my distant cousin who died at 23 years of age by drowning. He was mowing behind his house and he stumbled. Then he fall in the pond and the mower fallen and him so he could not get out and drowned. I did not really know him but this is a tragic death and very sad for such a young age. So according to all the books was he afraid of death by drowning?
I could say yes in another example of my other cousin, who was RIP, my father's brother's son and we played together when we were kids. I even have a scar when he hit me with a metal toy gun. He drowned 2 years ago. His colleagues made a stupid joke and thrown him into artificial lake. They were all sitting there and having a drink. He was scared to death of drowning as he almost did when he was 3 years old. I really liked that guy. He was a nice bloke and he did at 25 years of age outliving his son. Very sad and disturbing for the family. Hope he is somewhere there enjoying eternal life or incarnating or being incarnated already. Was it fate catching up with him or simple and pure law of attraction. Scared to think anymore about anything myself.
ANd yes the above mentioned books, mostly Hicks books convinced me that there is either reincarnation or life after death.
That is for now will add some more stuff later depending how my reading is going on.
