Miss Kitty is 6mths today. There were many, many time that I thought we'd never see this day, and I am thrilled that she is so healthy. We are celebrating with new knitted lovliness - a dress for her, a fidget for me - and some blw. For a few weeks now she has been grabbing and gumming anything she can, so we are officially on the journey towards food. Of course, the dairy free thing makes it tricky. The paedi rec to avoid all food allergens makes it significantly trickier. I KNOW food is for fun until you are one. I do. I have had 4 babies, raised many more, and I'm a breastfeeding support worker. But it's a PITA trying to find dairy free meals for myself, let alone dairy free, allergen free options that she can feed herself...lol. Good job she's so totally worth the hassle.

There seem to be two more fidgets clamouring to be knitted for gifting, and a hat to match my one bursting to get onto my needles. Good job since the 'wool' I had for my sophie bag seems to be a part wool part acrylic blend so useless. But that does mean I need to get my ass in gear and find my misplaced pattern as Sunday should be the casting on for a new KAL...EZ's BSJ.
