This blog entry has been delayed due to unseasonable rain. It seems to be April here in the middle of June. Which my brain can't quite handle and so I keep running three washloads per day (let's face it, cloth nappies and blw mean stcks of laundry!) then having to hang it all over the house and keep turning it and checking it...

Anyway, I got the fidget scarflet finished. Bought buttons for it, about which I am yet undecided. Also got a button cute enough for impress...for 10p! Started a second fidget as an experiment. Knitted on BSJ for WWKIP day. Then knit some more on it in church and at a kids party on Sunday. BIG mistake. Spent Sun night frogging 6 rows. Still love it, though...lol. Casting on a pretty thing for a KAL tomorrow, need to pick up some lovely fingering for it first, though. And have almost decided on harumi for my cashmere, since it is virtually a hand-holding step by step guided tutorial...and I'm kinda special that way...lol! Hoping to find enough to do a baby skirty soaker when my latest oopsie purchase arrives...startitis is rampant, but my FOs are looking good...

BLW is off like a rocket...bubs is like Tiny in that as soon as we gave her food, she adored it and will constantly have something in each hand if she can! She finishes whatever we offer her and then has seconds...yet to discover something she dislikes. This morning she decided porridge was fist food rather than finger food, and also fun as a shampoo...but she ate the lot! She's been so loving this past week, blowing kisses and smushing right up against me to give me loves. It's amazing. <3

Tiny started nursery this week, loved it. She's in once weekly now till September when she'll go 6 half days per week...sad to see her go to school, but thrilled for her, she's been waiting ages! Hoping her thumbnail will have grown back some by then...

Currently spending money like water and just can't bring myself to feel bad about it. I'm hugely frugal for most of the year, then in june and sept (kids birthday months, in a random, may be connected factoid) I spend, spend, spend...must be hormones! But Tiny's birthday will be mega-cheap this year, so I can't feel too bad about it...

Right, off to do something constructive before school run...wish me luck!
