So now we're out of daytime cloth have been since octoberish (except for bedtime)

Before the destash we had so many different types and i have to admit, it was emotional selling them on lol
i think my faves for customising were holdens landings and wildchilds albeit expensive i loved them lots

so now we're doing potty training, well toilet training now and i use the term training loosley since she more or less did it herself.
We had the potty in the room since she was 1, just so she could play about with it, get used to it being there, it wasnt anything flashy, just a pink potty and she rarely bothered with it.

Then in october she just didnt want to be in nappies anymore, she would take them off herself,
tell me when she'd pooed or weed so much to my carpets dismay (i miss lamenate so much) we left her nappy free during the day and didnt really go out anywhere while she got used to the potty.

she took to it really well, until she started peeing in anything
she would hover and hold a cup under herself dont know where she picked that up but at least it wasnt on the floor i suppose
my friends little boy used to pee in a welly boot or a mop bucket, i could live with the odd pee in a cup
for the first few weeks it was a case of watching the signs that she needed to pee, the signs were pacing, followed by dancing followed by looking for a cup at which point i'd direct her or put her on the potty.
She had yet to poo on the potty and would ask for a nappy whenever she needed a poo which i let her have as she wasnt ready to poo on the potty yet

then one nappy free evening we smelt this god awful smell, we looked for it and found her sat on the potty in the corner behind her kitchen, she told us to leave her alone.... she liked her privacy

since then whenever she wanted a poo she would take herself off to her corner with her potty and let us know when she wanted us to wipe her bum.

She was quite proud of herself and decided to move onto the toilet, she could now at this point climb the baby gate on the stairs gutted let me tell you lol
i heard noise coming from the bathroom so ran up and there she was on the loo, when she saw me she told me to get out and shut the door
i closed the door to and stood outside until she shouted im finished, at which point i was allowed to enter and wipe her.

Since then we have the odd accident but she wont go on the potty anymore, so its a mad rush to the loo now but she takes herself so we cant complain

shes started to take her night nappy off now during the night, shes not waking up to go to the loo tho, i just think shes uncomfy in it so more often than not i put a mat under her sheet incase of accidents as she pees like a fiend at night
