We had great fun. I was on Roxy again (i love that mare) and my friend being taller than me was on Benson who is bigger than Roxy. They are very good horses though and we loved it. I cantered again and had fun. My friends horse was just meant to trot and he started to canter but my friend sat really well on him and she enjoyed it too. It was her first lesson back in the saddle in about 7 years so we have booked again for next week! ...

I am so relieved to be home and cosy. I had a bad night last night and had to be up at 6:45am to get ready for work in Staffordshire. As it turned out there was a mix-up and the job was cancelled, so I was able to peel off the layers and layers of clothes I'd donned in preparation for a long cold morning/afternoon outside looking for signs of bats, birds etc. I got a lift back from my boss/colleague as dh had dropped me off before going to work. Hello everyone! This thread seems like a great idea, so I have also written down everything I have! We started with cloth nappies only in October last year, when Sophie was already 5 months, after a Mum and baby group with the Devon representative for the Real Nappy Project - she showed me a Tots Bots Mushroom Magic and how easy it was, and I have been hooked since then!
