OH MY GOD!!! I'm so happy I could cry!!!!

I have just had great news!!! OH just called to tell me his Dr has just been in, he is responding really well to treatment, there is a 70% reduction in leukemia cells already and they are saying he has a 90% chance of going into remission by the end of this first round of chemo!!! I'm so happy I don't know what to do with myself. I know that he may not go into remission on this round but I'm clinging to the info I have just got with both hands and there is nothing that can get me today!!! He will...

Nappy library and the start of my cloth journey

After visiting my local cloth nappy library the other day I came away with a few different brands of nappy to try. 3 days in and I'm really enjoying the experience so far, it really isn't harder than using disposables I find and the pros definitely outweigh any cons (not that I've found any in particular yet)

The brands I'm trying at the moment are:
Gnappies
Close pop-ins
Motherease one size & sandys
Tots bots bamboozle

So far I like them all! Now I just have to try and build a stash before...

Potty aware

My DS is 2 1/2 but is young for his age. He shows an interest in the potty and will do a wee and sometimes a poo on the potty. Sometimes he will go to it on his own. Sometimes he will tell me he needs changing. However none of this is consistent or reliable. So I am keeping him in nappies and offering the potty at each change. Should I wait a bit longer for him to become more aware or be more proactive? My DD was being toilet trained at this age and was more or less dry during the day? But every...

Ok the problem is my daughter wants something she can pull up and down so she doesn't want to where my blueberies. Now on the look out for an all in one that can you can pull upp and down.

Starting Baby Led Weaning :-)

So at 22 weeks we've made the scary decision to introduce some solids :-?
