Enabling Hibernation in Ubuntu 12.04 on a Lenovo T400

In the hope that this helps someone out there do something that took way too much of my time and so that I don't forget:

1) First off make sure your swap partition is bigger than your RAM otherwise you wont have enough space to save the contents of your memory. Use gparted or whatever takes your fancy. Plenty of help on the net for this so I won't go into it.

2) Hibernation was removed from Ubuntu so you need to get it back into you shutdown menu again:

sudo nano /etc/polkit-1/localauthority/50-local.d/com.ubuntu.enable-hibernate.pkla

First symptoms.

I got my BFP yesterday and it already feels like ages ago!

LMP: 1/2/11
Ovulation period: 11/2/11 - 15/2/11
DTD: 12/2/11

I suspected that I was pregnant before my BFP as I had the following signs:

1. Boobs. The first tell tale sign within a few days of DTD (doing the deed) they were not sore as such but nipple felt slightly tingly and a bit of a dull ache on certain areas of the breast. Wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't been looking for it though. No change in size.

2. 7 days before AF (period)...

I'm hoping to get myself back up and running asap. I'm feeling much more like myself again. I have missed doing this.

Not in a good place

and I can't find my way out. I'm trying so hard not to break down in tears at every little thing at the minute. OH has hit a bad place emotionally and he won't admit it so he's taking a lot of it out on me but on Saturday I just couldn't take it anymore and walked out of the hospital and left him there, I also didn't go back yesterday, I thought if I gave him chance to think he might pull out of it. Ok I have spent my voucher on 1 Blueberry Minki,1 Blueberry bamboo and 1 I think it was an easy peasy nappy. As well as a baby gown, wet nappy bag and some liners. £75.00 didn't get as much as I thought it would. But at least I have some new nappies to try and some funky ones for bump due in july. DD only has them at night thesedays.
