Rival closeing down.

A friend who also sells nappies is stopping selling them, which in someways is good as she is a rival. I have oppted to try and sell her stash. I would buy it all from her but I don't shift enought stuff to do that. I know she had her foot in the door of the local hospital so now she has gone I shall try getting my foot in the door. She is doing more holistic therepy, and if you live in hinckley I can say she does a lovely massage. The good news is that there is one less nappy seller in Hinckley....

Feeling the terry love...

Despite spending time browsing beautiful nappies ont'interweb and looking through classifieds here :coffee: , I do not own many pretty nappies. We have tuttos (which are pretty enough for us really), a few bumgenius, a lone dream-dri ... and terry squares. These are cheap and cheerful cotton ones from Boots. From early afternoon onwards, each time I change my lo I am almost guaranteed to put him...

oh yes, BTPs. They're ok, but still I'm not totally enamoured of them... just the fluffiness LOL.

I have two bitti d'lish snap in ones. I like the trim fit of them. I bought them for the girls for overnights last year at the babyshow in olympia. They wore them ONCE each LOL. I don't know if it's just cause Frederick is looong but he managed to fit right into a large snapped up as tight as possible! I think if I had my nappy voucher again I'd get some more of them instead...

Wool - dyed and knittedinto longies

The first lot of Merino wool I bought online, together with some sachets of Kool-Aid.
LOADS of photos - again, to remind myself how I did it (my children stole my memory via my placenta :| )

1. A quick wash in soapy water to remove lanolin, then transferred into a bowl containing water with about a cup-full of white vinegar.
