Oh the wonderful world of cloth nappies!

Well, I was in the mood to start a blog today. I joined CNT last week and am already spending too much time on here :wink: Still, it's all in the name of research, don'tcha know? I am so grateful that Steph started a thread asking people for feedback and help on some questions I had about cloth nappies- being a complete novice- it has helped SO much. No peace yet :(

So just when I think the worry is over, it is really not. I now have a battle with the Maternity Allowance office as to whether or not I am allowed to claim. Their literature states that you can claim if the baby was stillborn in the 25th week of pregnancy. The staff seem to be reading that as you need to be 25weeks pregnant but surely the 25th week means that I have completed 24weeks (so am 24 weeks pregnant) and have entered the 25th week (so am 24weeks + something) After a phone call they said...

A lead up to now

A quick run up to right now.

Bren was diagnosed with Kidney failure just before his 21st birthday - 2000

We met the next year, we were only together for 3 months when he got sick and was admitted to hospital. It was through a routine scan that they found a Renal cell carcinoma (cancer of the kidney) his right kidney was removed October 2001 and thankfully he was contained and hadn't spread.

Because of his Renal failure and one kidney having been removed his body couldn't cope his condition advanced...

Clothnappytree Raspberry Pi project

After a long wait, the eagerly anticipated Raspberry Pi has arrived!! :) :)

Apparently the Raspberry Pi is a little easier to get hold of in England, but I down under count myself very lucky to have got one after many months of waiting.

You might have heard about the Raspberry Pi as they're made by an innovative UK organisation...
