greenabubs my little shop

I am a part time dance teacher, I used to do it full time but don't like to spend too much time away from Izzy. I didn't have enough capital to venture out into being a full time wahm either. So I decided to do my part time teaching for a steady income and then set up very slowly a wahm cart. I spend my time in the evenings whilst Izzy is asleep to work on my shop.

Greenabubs is basically a collection of my favourite green baby products that have been used by us. I can then give honest and reliable...

moving house and making nappies

So we're moving house...slowly.

Luckily Mr Frenchveg and I live little, so we're able to transport everything in suitcases between the old rental and the new. Thank goodness for wheely cases! The worst trip for Mr Frenchveg was my crockpot and a load of books all in one suitcase (he packed it!!) but kudos to him for all of the heavy lifting he's done.

A question for the UKers, where do you buy toilet brushes???? Why can't I locate a shop that sells this very necessary household cleaning implement???...

Hospital bags

Ok, so I have six weeks to go, but I can't stand seeing all this stuff in piles all round the house, so I've started packing it up. And no, this does not confirm my husband's belief that I am a control freak!

January, snowdrops, and a lot of yarn

The snowdrops in my garden are shooting up into the world again, won't be very long until their flowers come with the promise of Spring approaching.
It's been a cold hard Winter here this year, lots of coal-tits and robins about though, they seem to love perching in the bare Hawthorn and springing up off into the air again.

Winter is a fabulous time to be snuggled up warm indoors of an evening with a ball of yarn and the clicketty of needles working it into something special. My current project...
