2nd lesson!!

Just had my 2nd lesson earlier, same horse and instructor, found out today that Roxy is abit bigger than i was originally told so she is in fact a horse (approx 15HH).

We did lots of trotting, Roxy is quite lazy at times apparently and it can be hard work getting her into trot but i felt i did well. 2nd lesson so very early days but i think i'm doing ok. :wine: ...

the beginning of my blog

Yesterday was our sons first birthday, it was also the day we found out my other half has acute myeloid leukemia, so a mixed bag as days go. Our son is just learning to walk and talk and now he will miss it as he will be in hospital having aggressive Chemotherapy. I'm stating this blog so that I have somewhere to turn to to keep a record that will maybe prove useful to others and so that on the days where I can't remember my own name I can still have a record of what needs to be done and how we...

This mornings lesson!

Went well today. We did some pole work and then all individually had to go from walk into trot then into canter and then back down through the transitions from canter/trot and then finally walk. We did this on both reins (both directions around the school) and mine went pretty well. I was very pleased and really enjoyed it today :widesmile:

Ooo, first wash

So, I decided to wash my terries that arrived this morning. After reading the info that came with my little lambs, and searching on here, I put the terries on without detergent at 30 with two lines, since it seems that my washing machine only does the basic programmes, and after reading the manual, I am a little concerned that I won't be able to do the all-important cold prewash. Not sure what to do, but will probably just have to do a 30 -- without detergent. ...
