pregnancy update.

6+3 today.

Found out on Sunday that my big sister is pregnant too. Quite excited for her. She is not sure of her dates but thinks she is due august/sept time. By my calculations I am due Sept 1st so very close. Unfortunately her husband is in the army and is of to Afghanistan for 6 months at the end of March. She is more than likely going to be birthing without him. Very scary for her I can imagine as this is her first DC. I was single when I had my first DS and so I can understand how she must...

Well, I was in the mood to start a blog today. I joined CNT last week and am already spending too much time on here :wink: Still, it's all in the name of research, don'tcha know? I am so grateful that Steph started a thread asking people for feedback and help on some questions I had about cloth nappies- being a complete novice- it has helped SO much. Pizza Base

4 super thin pizza bases

2 packets yeast (for 500g)
1 teaspoon sugar
1.25 cups of water
1 tablespoon oil
3 cups all-purpose flour
salt to taste

3 cups is about 400g of flour. Work out yeast according to what it says on the packet. In this case it's about two packets.

Mix yeast and warm water in a bowl (40-45 Centigrade)
Add oil and flour and mix till it forms a dough ball.
Nead for about 5 mins
Cover bowl with a kitchen towel, place next to heater while the oven is warming...

Cracking on

This is just a little self indulgence to remind myself what I can do when I need and want to. If you haven't seen my garden you don't know what sort of state it was in. Half of the paving slabs were so overgrown you couldn't even see where they were, it was ridiculous. Today on a 4 hour gardening session I have weeded and found the slabs :wine: it was a LOT of hard work though! It's just something I want to...
