I feel a need to get ready for baby. I don't know why. I have bought my hospital things, I *think* I have got everything for my hospital bag. I think I need to start packing, I feel a *need* to get on and do things but I really want to slow down and enjoy this Christmas with Austin. I haven't really got anything important to say today tbh but I wanted to document the fact that I had my booking appointment and the midwife (Tracey) was fab and lovely and very supportive of my having a homebirth. It has certainly made it feel like I am now pregnant again now that I know things are moving again. Had my first bloods taken and all the other tedium that goes with a booking appointment, but it was lovely!

My DS is 2 1/2 but is young for his age. He shows an interest in the potty and will do a wee and sometimes a poo on the potty. Sometimes he will go to it on his own. Sometimes he will tell me he needs changing. However none of this is consistent or reliable. So I am keeping him in nappies and offering the potty at each change. Should I wait a bit longer for him to become more aware or be more proactive? My DD was being toilet trained at this age and was more or less dry during the day? But every...

Pear was a hit yesterday, it was lovely and ripe though. I just cut it into chip sized pieces and it kept her amused for ages before she ate nearly a full pear. She was having lots of fun pushing the pieces round her highchair tray and trying to pick up the squishy, slimy pieces to eat them.

I can do matching designs on BG too.
