Miss Kitty is 6mths today. There were many, many time that I thought we'd never see this day, and I am thrilled that she is so healthy. We are celebrating with new knitted lovliness - a dress for her, a fidget for me - and some blw. For a few weeks now she has been grabbing and gumming anything she can, so we are officially on the journey towards food. Of course, the dairy free thing makes it...
help please!! we are going on holiday and we decided to try pockets even though we normally use 2 part nappies . ordered from China long long ago and sadly have not arrived. leaving on Sunday. Is there any one out there who could lend a few by popping them in the post tomorrow? I will happily pay postage both ways....
Well hubby bought me a sewing machine and overlocker so I thought I would start making my own nappies for the little one. I had thought about doing it for a long time, but have recently just got into it and have made 4 in the last week when hubby was doing his private pilot's licence in France.
This is my first attempt, a fitted one size with Red Robots knit and bamboo fleece, I needed a bit more practice with the snap placement but overall was very happy! ...
Finally got around to taking piccies of the other pockets I made. They're 'inspired', by the Blueberry Side-snaps in large. Ok, yes - just a blatant copy of the shape and style
Two PUL side-snaps, both with microfleece inners. A bit boring but nice and practical!
Well now finally at 14 weeks i am allowing myself to get excited (and i may even have just felt the first movements...but i could just be getting overexcited here ) so i thought i'd better start writing my wishlist so that i wont forget stuff!!!
1. Stokke Xplory - i have to put it as number one, i know i wont get one,...
