A lead up to now

A quick run up to right now.

Bren was diagnosed with Kidney failure just before his 21st birthday - 2000

We met the next year, we were only together for 3 months when he got sick and was admitted to hospital. It was through a routine scan that they found a Renal cell carcinoma (cancer of the kidney) his right kidney was removed October 2001 and thankfully he was contained and hadn't spread.

Because of his Renal failure and one kidney having been removed his body couldn't cope his condition advanced...

Finally got around to taking piccies of the other pockets I made.
They're 'inspired', by the Blueberry Side-snaps in large.
Ok, yes - just a blatant copy of the shape and style :giggle:

Two PUL side-snaps, both with microfleece inners. A bit boring but nice and practical!

This isn't really a pregnancy blog

Except maybe that my emotions are worse than they would be if I wasn't :pregnant: .
I am feeling a little hurt today, maybe it is needless but either way I think I need to get it out or it will eat at me. I would like to think that for the most part I am not very demanding, for example when asked what I want for Christmas I have told everyone I have no idea, therefore I am not particularly...

A fluffy update

Well, it didn't take long before I was forced to re-evaluate my stash.

The Ittis were, although slimmish and absorbant, an awful fit once Merry started walking. That, and the hardness of the inserts (rather a cardboard effect that bamboo often has) prompted me to give them the heave-ho, so we were back to fluffles and wraps when at home and WN AI2s when out and about.

Then I discovered Close Parent Pop Ins. ...
