Today dh woke up and I heard him exclaim. The snow which had melted a bit yesterday was steadily being replenished this morning, and it was snowing very heavily. So, I have been lucky enough to have his company at home (how sad am I?! :hohoho:

). More snow is expected this weekend, too. We have about 6 inches of snow here already. Quite a bit has melted off the trees and roads...

A friend who also sells nappies is stopping selling them, which in someways is good as she is a rival. I have oppted to try and sell her stash. I would buy it all from her but I don't shift enought stuff to do that. I know she had her foot in the door of the local hospital so now she has gone I shall try getting my foot in the door. She is doing more holistic therepy, and if you live in hinckley I can say she does a lovely massage. The good news is that there is one less nappy seller in Hinckley....

I was a bit skeptical when i first heard about them, and a few months ago i bought one and forgot all about it! Then I got it out and gave it to Molly, who had so much fun with it that I thought more were needed! She even asked for her "red blanket" this morning, and still hasn't let it out of her sight :giggle:

They are great for using in role-play, and are suitable for children of all ages....

Well hubby bought me a sewing machine and overlocker so I thought I would start making my own nappies for the little one. I had thought about doing it for a long time, but have recently just got into it and have made 4 in the last week when hubby was doing his private pilot's licence in France.

This is my first attempt, a fitted one size with Red Robots knit and bamboo fleece, I needed a bit more practice with the snap placement but overall was very happy!

I am wondering whether my order from babykind will arrive today. I hope so, as that package contains my big variety of nappies. I have more to order, and now I think of it, I'm certain I had a nappy dream last night! :oops:

How geeky! Anyhoo, I must remember to get more liners for my terrys, and wraps for them, too. I might also buy some more terrys. Not sure why, but I...
