baby number 5....eeeek!

right, so thought i'd better write something pregnancy related now, no idea how far on we actually are just yet, all i know is Taliesin is just 21weeks old and i have to be at least 6 weeks pregnant. have been feeling vile so far this time, really sick, living on red bull like it should be drip fed, seems to be the only way to kick my energy off, but most things going down right now are coming back up pretty soon too, which is making me think this time it's a girl. i could be so wrong, but been on...

A fluffy update

Well, it didn't take long before I was forced to re-evaluate my stash.

The Ittis were, although slimmish and absorbant, an awful fit once Merry started walking. That, and the hardness of the inserts (rather a cardboard effect that bamboo often has) prompted me to give them the heave-ho, so we were back to fluffles and wraps when at home and WN AI2s when out and about.

Living with a child with severe allergies

On April 12th 2006 we woke up excited, today Jack was 6 months old and starting weaning. I was planning on giving baby rice but I was a poor expresser due to a rubbish manual pump I now know so had no milk to mix it with. I decided to nip out and get him some rusks as these could be mixed with water into mush for him.

We had a busy day so didn't get down to feeding him till teatime ish perhaps a bit earlier. He wolfed it all down and really enjoyed it, within a few minutes though he looked very...

Wool - A few of my projects...

I thought I'd add some of my most recent knits here so I can show them off a bit. I learnt to knit a few months ago and I have become painfully addicted! A pair of large longies takes about 2 weeks, so I'm not rapid by any length of the imagination. I'm now trying the Sleuthing Hoodie and have a hat in mind as well as some knits for a friend's new baby boy...
