Birth Story: Holly Ann Taylor

Holly Ann Taylor born 22.2.2012 @ 17.03 weighing 8lb 6oz, a natural drug free homebirth.

My contractions originally started on 21st at about 4pm, just as I was going to OH's parents for dinner, they were uncomfortable but bareable and by the time dinner was over they were starting to slow down though not easing so I just got on with my usual routine. They more or less disappeared over night so I got in to bed early and thought I best make the most of it as it was probably going to be my last decent...

2nd lesson on Alfie!

Had a one hour group lesson last Sunday with Emma and my best friend and it was SUPERB!!! :D :D My horse Alfie who i only rode for first time last lesson went really really well and we got some superb canters in. 35 weeks and more baby/mum buys

35+1 today

Annoyed that I couldn't get a 36 week mw appointment for next week, so I will be a day off full term by the time I do see her. Shouldn't matter too much really. I just like hearing baby's heart beat, it is so reassuring :pregnant:

Been spending my time organising the baby's room (although baby will be with us in our room at first), so been putting clothes, swaddlepods, sleepingbags...

Ordered some lovely nappy things :)

I'm back from my visit to my family and now have a cot, moses basket, bedding, bags and bags of clothes (and that's just 0-3 and 3-6months!) etc.etc. The nursery-to-be is chocka. I have also ordered some non-basic and lovely looking nappy items- a wet bag, pocket nappy in rainbow and very cute wrap with monsters on it. First symptoms.

I got my BFP yesterday and it already feels like ages ago!

LMP: 1/2/11
Ovulation period: 11/2/11 - 15/2/11
DTD: 12/2/11

I suspected that I was pregnant before my BFP as I had the following signs:

1. Boobs. The first tell tale sign within a few days of DTD (doing the deed) they were not sore as such but nipple felt slightly tingly and a bit of a dull ache on certain areas of the breast. Wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't been looking for it though. No change in size.

2. 7 days before AF (period)...
