Starting Baby Led Weaning :-)

by indigosky2k on Sun Sep 20, 2009 1:54 pm
So at 22 weeks we've made the scary decision to introduce some solids :-? I've been feeling for a couple of weeks now that Kacie's interest in food has increased dramaticlly, but I got worried over the whole 6 month thing. She fits the criteria in everyway, but her age. I felt from the NHS literature I was given that it makes it sound dangerous to wean pre-6 months, with the risk of alergies and chest...

Early arrival

by june2007 on Tue Jun 15, 2010 6:44 pm
Like my previous baby. Julian Stephen was born 5 weaks early. In Scbu he used Dispicables, but now I am trying different ones. The trouble is my all in one nappies don't really go smaller enough. They all seem so bulky, so what do I use? Good old terry squares. I also have an old style size 1 Fuzzi bunze which for some reason is smaller then the new style. (Which is too big for him.). My mum thinks I have lots of cloth nappies, So think I have enough for now.

Rival closeing down.

by june2007 on Thu Nov 18, 2010 7:51 pm
A friend who also sells nappies is stopping selling them, which in someways is good as she is a rival. I have oppted to try and sell her stash. I would buy it all from her but I don't shift enought stuff to do that. I know she had her foot in the door of the local hospital so now she has gone I shall try getting my foot in the door. She is doing more holistic therepy, and if you live in hinckley I can say she does a lovely massage. The good news is that there is one less nappy seller in Hinckley....
