Yesterday was our sons first birthday, it was also the day we found out my other half has acute myeloid leukemia, so a mixed bag as days go. Our son is just learning to walk and talk and now he will miss it as he will be in hospital having aggressive Chemotherapy. Lily Annabelle Isla arrivved 4 weeks early bang on 36 weeks, obviously thought she'd steal the llimelight as me and oh had just got engaged

I am typing one hand atm, got L in the other arm and I suspect a nappy change is appropriate haha!

I had a so-so evening yesterday.
Good points:
Cooking my OH a chilli con carne (not my cup of tea, but may have converted myself, haha!) and him adoring it

Pampering bath
Hypnobirthing relaxtion and massage
Not so good points:
Really sudden shooting pains down there, maybe to do with the engagement of the baby's head? At my 34 week mw appt baby was 3/5 engaged. This was followed by some rather intense...
