Ok, so this week has officially sucked. There would be more words in that sentence but it would break the CNT code of conduct! :hohoho:

But to make it seem less challenging, I shall, for you good people, magically transform it into a vaguely amusing rant which will, if nothing else, allow you to appreciate a trip into your kitchen to make a drink, or to your bedrooms to grab a nappy...

Well where to begin?

My nan and step grandad live in a little mountain village in spain ( http://mapq.st/hYIzg8 ) They have lived there for about 10 years now and have stayed very active up to the past few weeks.
My nan has had a few bad kidney infections in the past few weeks and has been sent to a&e 3 weeks ago ( where within 4 hours she was seen, had CT and ultrasound scans, Xrays and blood and urine tests and got...

Holly is now 10 days old and I have just put her in a Little Gumnut fitted and Gen-Y wrap. A part of me wishes we had started sooner but I wanted to wait for her stump to come off first which it now has (cord stumps scare me :lol:

)
so we will see how today goes and hopefully by the end of the day we will have some idea of what is going to work ...

Two nights ago, while waiting up for our guest to arrive at the house (house being a rather grand word for our accomodation...but it's more than spacious enough for us!) I finally got a chance to sew the first cloth nappy. The elastic sewing is really terrible, but by the time I finally got to the elastic, it was 2:30 am...so I wasn't expecting a work of nappy art. Last night after we got home from an evening out with our guest, I did a quick insert with scraps and finished off the project.

Today we got the news we had been hoping for; OH is in remission!!! He still has to have another couple of courses of chemo but it means there is an end in sight to all of this. It still means we have a while on our own

but we can live with that if it means daddy will be home with us soon and well again. The best news for me at the minute is the fact we can carry on with our plans to TTC late next year (selfish...
