This middle bit of pregnancy is a bit strange, I know that I am pregnant, and my growing bump is evidence but I just don't feel pregnant. It's easy to forget (unless I'm trying to put on socks or something and then there is very definitely a new obstacle). I can definitely feel baby moving about, but it' not the big obvious movements I remember from last time, it's more...

A little blitz goes a long way

I had a good old tidy today, started at 9 and just about finished at 3. I have re-arranged my furniture, hoovered (several times), polished, washed, scrubbed the carpet in several places, de-cluttered and put away and had a general tidy, oh and mopped the floors. I feel much happier and even plucked up the courage to phone OH. All was fine on the phone so I'm going to go see him again. I will take the advice I was given and let all the nasty comments (if there are any) go over my head. Tidy house,...

In the beginning....

I'm a cloth convert and now im a cloth addict :giggle:
Aimee was born on August 11th, 2 weeks late, and to begin with we used disposables, i had been curious about cloth nappies but always thought they were to fiddley, probably more messy etc etc

So for the first 6 and a half weeks we used huggies, during that time i researched reusable nappy schemes and found one in manchester, the council offered...

Hooray for good news

Today we got the news we had been hoping for; OH is in remission!!! He still has to have another couple of courses of chemo but it means there is an end in sight to all of this. It still means we have a while on our own :( but we can live with that if it means daddy will be home with us soon and well again. The best news for me at the minute is the fact we can carry on with our plans to TTC late next year (selfish...
