My 4th day with cloth nappies ..

Well so far so good - the FLIPs fit really nicely on both the girls, although sometimes I think they seem a little tight on Gracie (2yrs & 1 mth) but in all fairness they are fine.
Gracie has had 2 wee leaks so far, im guessing she's more of a wee gusher, than a slowly trickle wee kinda gal! Iv managed to catch 3 poos so far, all the others have hit the wrap, which im gutted about but im sure once Millie's poo's are becoming a bit more solid they won't run onto the wrap.

Homeschooling week one (and a bit)

Okay - so the day before we start homeschooling officially as it were, I have had gallbladder surgery (keyhole) so am feeling a bit sore and need to sit and recover!

So day one was dvds :oops: but that's ok - day -1 was DH taking the girls to the science museum and a ride on Thomas and some craft activities while I was in the hosp so actually I'd prefer to count that (and the whole of the summer...

LOVING CLOTH NAPPY TREE

I would just love to say that I am really enjoying using this site...I have had lots of helpful and useful info off the girls on here and even bagged a few bargains to add to my collection, although hubby isn't happy lol

I have to say I am now a complete cloth nappy addict!!

Yet another waiting game

So this time it's me. Today I went to see the doctor about being tested for Huntington's disease, which runs in my family. I actually came away feeling much better about it, not for myself, I can live with that, for me not knowing is worse than anything else. For the fact that apparently while it is unlikely there is anything that can be done if I have it, it is quite likely that, should Austin get the disease, there will be some sort of treatment. The dr I saw today was much better than any other...
