Had another group lesson with just Emma and best friend. I rode Alfie again. It didn't go quite as well as the last lesson but i am getting there. It's my canter that lets me down, feel my trot is quite ok.

We had a new instructor and she was great, really explained things well and alot more than other instructor did so we are sticking with her from now on!!

My lovely little boy woke we again at about 5:25am, after a late night. :lol:

I just couldn't get back to sleep after that until moments before the alarm went off. I was just getting breakfast when my boss/colleague's (am technically self employed) wife called to say that he wasn't well so we'd have to postpone the job today, which suited me fine. Shame he's unwell, tho.

I'm off to see my mw today for the first time since booking in, in October. I'm not looking forward to it. Mind you, with all this snow, she may not make it to the local doc's. I will phone and see in a bit.

I am so relieved to be home and cosy. I had a bad night last night and had to be up at 6:45am to get ready for work in Staffordshire. As it turned out there was a mix-up and the job was cancelled, so I was able to peel off the layers and layers of clothes I'd donned in preparation for a long cold morning/afternoon outside looking for signs of bats, birds etc. I got a lift back from my boss/colleague as dh had dropped me off before going to work. So OH has had his line for his chemo put in today, he has had to have a dual line so they can give him blood and platelets while he is having his chemo. It all feels a bit dreamy at the moment, I've had moments where I have had to stop and question if this is really all happening but I'm guessing it must be as OH hasn't come home yet. We have been told his immune system is no longer working so he may not be allowed home at the weekend but so far the plan is he will come home on Saturday (after blood...
