24+5 today. It has been ages since my last entry but I could never put into words what I wanted to say. I have had a few ups and downs and lots of tears to get to this point. I have been doing a pretty good job of ignoring being pregnant up till now and very few people know (or knew) but now that I have this bump, it is getting hard to hard..

12+1 today

Time seems to have flown by. All is going well so far. Nervously awaiting my Nuchal screening. The last pregnancy showed low PAPPA levels which were discovered as part of the NT blood tests so fingers crossed that they are all normal this time. My scan will be on Thursday and the results get posted to me following that so should know within a couple of weeks.

6+3 today.

Found out on Sunday that my big sister is pregnant too. Quite excited for her. She is not sure of her dates but thinks she is due august/sept time. By my calculations I am due Sept 1st so very close. Unfortunately her husband is in the army and is of to Afghanistan for 6 months at the end of March. She is more than likely going to be birthing without him. Very scary for her I can imagine as this is her first DC. I was single when I had my first DS and so I can understand how she must...

I finally managed to claim my entitlement to maternity allowance. Took appealing numerous times and the idea of a tribunal before the MA office overturned their desicion. So just when I think the worry is over, it is really not. I now have a battle with the Maternity Allowance office as to whether or not I am allowed to claim. Their literature states that you can claim if the baby was stillborn in the 25th week of pregnancy. The staff seem to be reading that as you need to be 25weeks pregnant but surely the 25th week means that I have completed 24weeks (so am 24 weeks pregnant) and have entered the 25th week (so am 24weeks + something) After a phone call they said...
