Recommend a fold

Postby Mary Jo » Mon Feb 22, 2010 9:09 am

Since my son went into his cloth at 1 month old, I've mostly used fitted nappies but had 4 bamboo terry flats as well. I enjoy using them more than I thought I would, but Adam has grown too big for the fold I usually used (the Jo).

He's now 6 months old, about 17lb and 28in tall, he used to be really slim but he's chunking out now. My nappies are 60cm squares. I would like to carry on using them, don't really want to have to buy bigger. So I obviously need a new fold. Any suggestions? I have looked online but am not getting very far.

:)

Sorry we don't use terries but hopefully someone else should be able to help you - you could always use the squares to stuff pockets with...

I had Dawn in a terry the other day, as a 'stop gap' nappy before her night one. Nothing cuter than a baby in a fluffy white terry (cept for a baby in a yummy Weenotions :hohoho: )

When Kiara grew I started using the chinese fold. Took a while to understand but I got there in the end.

I used the jo fold until it would go round the middle, then the pleat fold. Gives layers in the vital area but slim on the hips.
