New year, new craft challenge?

Made loads ! Csp, breast pads, wipes, a nappy, longies, cardi, scarf, hat, gloves and socks ! Would love to make some more woolies but will see

Just wanted to share a couple of other things I've made in January.

My lovely dh got me some gorgeous Mosaic Moon yarn for Christmas, so I made myself a shawl



And I got a knitting book that helped me make up a pattern for my first ever gloves with fingers. It was fun but fiddly so I probably won't EVER make another pair

Gorgeous! Is that the steam train (???) kerchief pattern? If it is how many extra sections did you add to get it that size?

It's the Faraway So Close shawl Tory. That was the small size! It's still HUGE

I'll go and have a nosey in the morning but I'm sure that is a bigger version of the one I did for my sil, I love it you did a beautiful job! How much wool did you need?

That was 4oz of worsted weight of colourway and 2oz of trim, so a bit more than 100g and 50g of each

ETA on 6mm needles

One trip to Ikea and I have the necessary fabric
One side of the placemats will match the fabric I've covered the chair seats with and the other is a wide stripe. Hoping to make a start tomorrow while DH and Ewan visit the transport museum.

@Scotia do you have the link to the FASC? I really want to make another shawl. Is it free? (Don't think I'm allowed to buy anything ATM )
