I just thought I'd post a progress picture before I go away. I'm really pleased with how it's going and now I understand the pattern, I realise it's just a case of me making little decisions to fill in the gaps. I can imagine making another one now I know how customisable it is

The first picture is of the flap and back of the bag. There's a button loop because I hate velcro. The second picture has a better example of the colours. I'm looking forward to getting back from being away so that I can finish it!

Thanks for the compliments. I'm really gutted I won't get to work on it for ages, but I'm working on a quick and beautiful little cardigan which is taking some of the impatience away

Well eventually managed to get my butt down to the curtain/fabric shop and got hold of this to start mine with (99p a metre in sale stuff!!!)
