Rox, Darcy is quite happy to sit and watch TV, play, pretend do her own make up :giggle: etc whilst I do my hair and make up, I think its just my laziness at the moment, I just cant be bothered. I know you are right though and am going to make an effort to get back into the routine of doing my hair and make up every day  I am generally quite good at keeping on top of doing my nails, so thats not too bad.

Kirsty, I wish my pre pregnancy stuff fitted, I do have a few pre preg tops that fit but there is no way my trousers would go anywhere near me now  I also have the problem that although I am only 5ft 2in, I have a long body and ridiculously short legs, so need longer length tops usually which often rules a lot of non maternity stuff out! I am going to try and have a look at normal clothes when I am out on Monday though for things that would do as maternity as well

Once this baby is born I am going to have a complete wardrobe overhaul as I was kind of stuck in a rut with a lot of my clothes anyway since having Darcy, as I was finding it hard to find things that suited me, but planning on getting back to Slimming world straight after xmas and will start to build up my wardrobe of things I actually like instead of buying things just because they fit

Thanks for all the advice and words of encouragement. Think I will have a sort through my wardrobe tomorrow as well and see if there are any bits in there that I could get away with or alter

One tip I would say when you look for clothes tomorrow (or whenever) is not to be scared to try out things that you wouldn't normally wear. It's surprising what a growing bump does for clothes, and I have found myself wearing jeggings a lot with semi fitted T-Shirts (fitted but not clingy, if that makes sense - I usually buy a size bigger than I need to achieve that). As a larger lass I tend to steer clear from fitted clothes as a rule, but the bump actually makes me look a little more in proportion as it takes the emphasis away from my bigger parts (legs!). :D

Also: HEELS! I can't say that enough - it's amazing the difference wearing heels makes! They haven't got to be hugely high (I can't wear anything too high due to back problems), but they really slim down your legs and make you stand up straight. I have a pair of skinny maternity jeans from Next at the moment and they look like jeggings on me due to their fit, and I team them up with a pair of biker type boots. Not everyone's cup of tea, but I like it. :D

Also, on the make up front I find that simply keeping my eyebrows in shape and wearing foundation with blusher and mascara makes a huge difference - people tell me I'm blooming all the time, and that pregnancy really suits me, lol! I don't know what they'd say if they saw me getting out of bed in the mornings. Rox is right though - I love being able to take pictures of me with my bump, etc... and enjoy being pregnant.

I can't totally understand your lethargy though - I'm starting to get tired now and I've only put on 7lbs. I think when we're bigger to start with that's already taking a toll as we're already lugging around that extra bit (if that makes sense?!). @Rox - I saw your mention your watching your diet at the moment - any tips to pass on, or are you doing anything in particular apart from just making healthy choices? I'm definitely kicking my spare tyre to the kerb once babba is born. :D

 to you though, Hannah!

Im just pulling it back in, i dont want to diet whilst pregnant as i am very aware of the effects dieting can have on the body etc and imho its not good when pregnant but i have stopped snacking, made better choices (i.e tonight we had a treat tea - pizza, since being pg i would have had a shop bought pizza with DH but they are soo bad for you so i've made my own usual healthy version & side salad) and also watching portion sizes as they were creeping up again but theyre really not necessary.

All things i was doing when maintaining my weight loss but had let slip due to sickness/exhaustion in the 1st tri. Feeling good now so want to just keep control and hopefully lose a little so theres less to shift once baby is here. My gym membership starts up again in Jan and i dont wanna be running off fat, i want to be toning and weight lifting again so i look good next summer and figure it wont hurt to do it now - its hard to resist temptation at the best of times but im thinking if i dont do it now i def wont do it once baba is here and im tired!

That's great to hear and sounds like you're doing really well! I've had the same thoughts regarding the weight gain - I piled it on with both and although I got down to my pre-pregnancy weight after Rory, that weight was still 3st heavier than my pre-Ethan's pregnancy weight! I figure that the less I put on now, the better - within reason, of course, as I don't want to starve myself. I've kept up my gym membership and go at least once a week but combine whatever I do there with lots of walking outside. FC it won't be so hard to get back to a good level of fitness after the baby if I keep on top of it now. :D

Thanks for sharing.

I've put mine on pause so i can get the best value from it once baba is here - As i had paid upfront for a year i am able to pause it for as long as i want so i just pay as i go now and i've set the membership to re-start in Jan which will get far more use and be better value for me :D

I'm in the unfortunate position of little exercise due to horrific spd and I've already put albs on since getting preg but i was about 8-11lbs heavier then than my ideal weight so I'm a stone over ATM. And I'm craving carbs especially sweet things ATM so it's not good :(

My SPD flared up around 14wks but thankfully not too bad at the moment - mostly made worse by work as im standing but i only work odd shifts and DH is really good at a deep massage to help ease it. I've had to give up running though as its too painful but this is another reason i dont want to gain anymore weight as the more weight the worse it will get.

Had it awful with Scarlett and could hardly walk but im sure my weight didnt help then.

If nothing else, its only weight and it can be shifted - now, or after birth, it can be lost, it just takes willpower and theres no point beating yourself up about any of it if youre not in the right mind set or position to do something about it. Been there, done that, makes you miserable.

I put on 4.5 stone with DD so can totally relate to the feeling fat and frumpy thing. This time around due to watching my diet because of the GD I actually lost a stone in my 3rd trimester, I didn't diet as such though, just reduced the amount of carbs really. I ended up with a gain of 1.5 stone which was much healthier (although I was still carrying 2 stone from the first time round). Since having DS I have started slimming world and have lost 8lbs in 3 weeks, and I'm already feeling the difference :-)

I have lots of maternity stuff to sort out, including several tunic style tops as that was pretty much all I wore when pregnant - I have two from Blooming Marvellous which I found really flattering and could even be worn afterwards (I am just too sick of the sight of them as they were worn a lot!).

I will try and do pics for you over the weekend

@hannahboo If money is tight, I have two new look long tops/floaty dresses which you can borrow. One is black and white polka dots and the other floral. They're size 18 and had to fit when my chest was 38gg as they're cross-over. Let me know and also  I've been there. My bump was *enormous* and I even got told that if I fell over, I'd roll home. Nice.
