Can I wear these?

I have been browsing eBay and I really want some DM boots. Particularly these:

Am I just reliving my student days or is there anything I could actually wear these with and not look ridiculous??

I'd say it totally depends on your look/what you'd wear them with.
I couldn't wear them as I'd look stupid, ditto trainers!

Hmm that's the problem - I don't think I really have a "look". There aren't many things in my wardrobe right now I could wear them with. But then there are t many things in my wardrobe I can wear at the moment full stop. I can't remember what I used to wear them with as a kid - just jeans I guess. And short skirts...

with jeans would be an easy look, but wouldnt show them off that much. We need a current photo of you!

I seem to remember I wore them mostly with the laces tucked inside so they slipped on lol!

I don't have any full length pics of me. Here is one taken by Alex the other day. Not sure they would go with the Boden shirt...



But just after this was taken I spilt coffee all down myself and had to get changed into the skinny jeans I'd just bought for dd (well chuffed they fitted!) and actually they looked ok! I've never worn skinny jeans before but theyd look OK with boots right? Not sure what to wear on top though.
