Winter Coat

Please help me find a coat. I need one for doing Woozlewood fairs as we are outside, well should I say I am outside It will be very cold.

Do you want something stylish or just warm?

Would like to say stylish but probably warm. I am expecting to be very cold.

Key thing really is base layers, good socks and a hat. Then I'd look for a very padded coat. I like a fur they are very warm as long as it's not raining! I have a good few fakes

I also have a couple of padded puffa jackets that I got from Gap, down filling. Windproof helps too so if you can run to it, something like a North Face parka or similar? I think @Caroline got one last year

Yes, I did get a North Face Arctic Parka last year and I love it. It's down filled and like wearing a duvet. Brilliant for the school run (we walk). At times I was too hot. Pricey but worth it imo.

Would have loved the north face parka, but sadly its way out of my price range. Will go and look at the gap coats.

ETA: Boots, clothes and sock already sorted

I LOVE my barbour, I have a very lovely winter weight one that keeps me very toasty. It was very pricey but I use it loads and it will last for years!

I got a lovely soft shell coat from trespass for dog walking, it's wind and rain proof but breathable and not plasticy! It's got a small pile fur inner and it's my fave colour, purple was £55 in the sale (think it was near £90 originally) x
