I've done a couple of mock ups of the top based on how I think it should work and whilst I reckon I could get it to work it'd be way too low at the back I think for what I want it for (industry dinner next week)
Sorry pressed send before I was ready!!! So basically I am using a pattern I already have, it's a loose dress belted in at the waist so I will need to alter it to put a fixed wasitband on it but I've cut out the pattern pieces and will make a toile this weekend, but just of the top. The skirt is full so shouldn't be too difficult to manage
so it needs a bit of tinkering but it was lovely to wear and I got loads of compliments.
