Bridesmaid shoes please

Postby aimeet » Sun Jan 06, 2013 9:22 pm

I am matron of honour at my nieces wedding at the end of April. I have a lovely soft pink floor length dress but need to buy the shoes to go with it, I need either silvery, cream or gold. They must be low heeled as I will be in them all day and possibly wearing a baby for some of it too.
So ladies link me up, oh and the cheaper the better as I am on a budget :giggle:

Where is the ceremony? WIll it be indoors? If you are after comfort then cheaper isn't good as they will be synthetic so will make your feet ache and possibly rub. I'd have a look in the sales for some gold leather ballet pumps, or if the ceremony is indoors how about some actual ballet shoes in pink or cream satin? cheap as chips and super comfy

I have some silver low heel shoes I wore when I was a bridesmaid, you're welcome to them if your feet are size 3?!

Clarks for comfy shoes! They are quite pretty but still sensible and if your dress is long they won't be seen much anyway!

Oh that reminds me, I saw photos of a wedding on FB, the bride had a long wedding dress, you couldn't see her shoes, which were Converse :giggle: Very sensible and practical!

I wore rocketdog creamy/gold flats at my wedding. Got them from TKMaxx for £10!

WHat size are you? If you're a smaller size then kids departments often have nice gold shoes eg Zara kids. Or Mini Boden have some nice silver brogues up to size 37
