Doctor Martens - how do you wear yours?

With £100 Christmas money that I'd been given burning a hole in my pocket, I had the urge to return to my youth and buy a pair of original style 8 hole DM's. I used to love wearing them with dresses and skirts when younger, but when I tried them on with the only skirt I own on Sunday I just wasn't feeling the love!

So, if you wear or have worn them, how do you wear yours?

I adore my red zipped wedge boots! I wear them with leggings and homemade tunics plus waterfall cardis when it's chilly

I have a pair of Tana's and wear them with jeans. I bought my daughter a pair of pink patent 8 hole's for her Birthday and she wears them with skinny jeans, skirts and leggings. She looks great, but then she's only 13. Lol

I have a similar type of boot but with D rings not holes. I wear them with skinnies, leggings and floaty dresses. The juxtaposition of floaty layers works well but have seen people rock them with winter minis and wuzzy tights too.
You have inspired me to dust mine off as I haven't worn them this year

Leggings and long tops, tights and dressed, jeans, actually I wear them with everything, love my new docs not had a pair that fit for about 10 years!

Not had any since the late 80s, I think my style wouldn't suit them so much now. But I'd do jeans with them - I have largish feet (7s) and skinny ankles so they can look like barges on my feet

I had my black shiny ones on today , with thick black tights , floaty dress and over sized chunky cardy!
